Latest Updates from Our Project:

Reaching for 5K!
over 6 years ago – Mon, Dec 11, 2017 at 10:26:09 AM

We are entering the last week of the campaign. In the other campaigns I've run, this is the week when all the people on the fence decide to jump on. I'm going to try to make things a little easier on everyone to make that final decision.

At the 5K level, I'm going to offer a leather dice pouch as an add-on. I'll make a prototype in the next day or two, but the dice pouches will be cut from a soft, pliable leather, be hand-stitched and will come with one of the engravings from Diesel or Charles. I'm going to try to keep the price as low as possible on this...right around the break-even point so everyone can add this on to their order. Since we are in the $4K range right now, we should be able to achieve this without a problem.

If we hit the $10K barrier, everyone who pledges at least $100 will get one of these dice pouches for FREE. That would be more than doubling the current pledge level, so take this as a challenge to get the word out.  At 10K, everyone who pledges at least $100, gets a pouch for free.

Note that this offer is good ONLY for pledges within Kickstarter. If you pledge $50 in the project, and then add on another $50 after the project, you will not be eligible for the free dice pouch. I'd really like to get the KS numbers up so that the project gets more attention in the search engines. So if you are planning on adding things on at the end of the project, consider doing it now in the final week in order to help get the project more visibility now.

Items that will be available after the project ends includes:

  • Wizard Dice Towers
  • Rogue miniature cases
  • Monk Dice Cases
  • Bard Utility cases
  • Dragon Pens
  • Inspiration tokens
  • Tolkien Tokens
  • Tie Fighter and Xwing 3d models (small)
  • Tie fighter 3d Model (stands about 10" high)

Maybe some other things. Any special requests out there?

I'll be back soon with a picture of the Dice Pouch prototype.

Get a gift in time for Christmas!
over 6 years ago – Thu, Dec 07, 2017 at 08:20:32 AM

While there is no way I can get the Dragonhyde Journals out for Christmas, I do have items in stock that I can get out to people in time for the holidays.

Those who have backed my projects before know that I offer many gaming accessories made from both domestic and exotic hardwoods. The Wizard Dice Tower is probably my most popular item, but I also have lines of dice cases, miniature cases and a few "normal" items like clocks and wine holders. Here are a few pictures of what is available in my online store.

There are many other great items in stock, so come by and take a look. Use coupon code DRAGONHYDE to get 15% off your order. This offer will run through the end of the project (Dec. 18) and I will ship right away so you get your item before the holidays.

Thank you so much for backing this project and (as always) please help spread the word.

I thought I'd post a link to a review that came in today from The Kentucky Bored Gamer (no, that isn't a typo).

Optional Spell Book
over 6 years ago – Tue, Dec 05, 2017 at 12:41:00 PM

Hey everyone. Below is a video on the new option for the Spell Book which will allow for removable signatures.

Anyone have a cool idea for a name of this book? To make it separate from the Spell Book?

Cost on this will be an extra $5.00 over the normal Spell Book ($40). There is some extra time and material involved.

Extra signatures I think we can keep to $2.50 each. A signature equaling 10 pages of sleeves (enough for 20 cards) or 40 pages (front and back) of paper. There isn't much cost to these on my side, but they do need individually stitched and velcro.

I'll add a separate pledge level for the book and the signatures will be available after the project in Backerkit.

$3K goal reached
over 6 years ago – Sun, Dec 03, 2017 at 07:02:40 AM

We've reached the $3,000 mark, which means we get to unlock Charles Urbach's new image. I still have to run a test of this, so it may change some, but here is the the image now available.

*drum roll*

Thanks to Charles for this drawing. I'll post an example on leather soon.
